Aaron Hernandez died this morning from committing suicide. I struggled with this because I don't know much of the story, even after reading a couple articles. He was acquitted and still committed suicide. I'm thankful for life everyday no matter the circumstances or the outcome at the end of the day because I wake up a free man that lives to see another day. Mom says that I used to love Valentine's day, we used to make a big deal about it with candy, stuffed animals and special dinners. I guess growing up sucks... I'm sure that's why I'm a romantic but the day feels dead to me even though it should be a symbolic day about reflecting on people who care about you and whom you care about.
